Gone but not forgotten

Having to say goodbye to our family is really hard. We had a good trip to D.C. to get our Canadians off to New York for a few more days of visiting.

The nest is way too quiet now and this evening will start the ritual of putting away the toys, wagon, swing and high chair.

I have some great memories and cute photos I'll share tonight but for right now this "Dita" is missing her babies.

Awwwwww Dita! I'm sure they are missin' you too! You and Poppa! (is it Poppa now? - as opposed to Boppa - which I really LOVED!)

It is so hard to say goodbye... my Nyssa hasn't been here since Christmas and if she doesn't make it in July, it may be Christmas again. She says she might try to do her doctorate at the University of Washington... that is on the other coast... my... I never will see her then.
