Sunday Afternoon

Charlie and JJ
Originally uploaded by Momma B.

It's Father's Day and this is the typical "look" around here. Sunday after church is a time to rest, nap, read, watch tv or a movie.

This is My Mr. Wonderful and the other "male" that lives with us....our very cuddly cat JJ. When not watching birds at the feeder, or taking a nap, JJ likes being close to "dad".

I was going to write a lovely tribute to my Mr. Wonderful about his being a wonderful dad, husband and friend but I didn't want you to think I was bragging! (Just the facts....)

So here's to men in my life....You're the Best!

Just brag!

Its your blog, its your perogative to say beautiful things about your loved ones. So go ahead!

I want to know if I have it in me too and maybe learn the good qualities your Mr. Wonderful has in your eyes.

Your bragging indirectly helps other men too.

Imran is right. Brag all you want.
Other women will read and point out areas for improvement to their own spouses. It couldn't do anything but improve the other men.

Hope Father's Day is all your hubby has hoped for. Here that would include a call from the son in Germany, and I expect to hear the phone at any time now.

I DO believe that relaxation is REALLY what Father's Day is all about -- even if it doesn't happen EVERY Sunday! Mother's Day seems to be about activity - but Father's Day always seems to be about relaxation! LOL! Heck... they deserve it!

Nothing is too bragging for someone who is very special. Happy Fathers Day to you Mr. Wonderful.
